Mr. Wysocki's Learning Unit #2 on Rocks
The goal for this unit is for you to gain an understanding of the three different rock types in the real-word. You will be using technology throughout this unit to research, organize, design, explain, and summarize information on rocks. Furthermore, you will be using technology to cite your sources and for correct spelling of words.
The first technology tool that you will be working with is Google Drawings for your entry event. The first drawing will be your pre-assessment for this unit so that I can see how much you know about rocks. The second drawing will be a place where you start to research information about rocks. Additionally, it will be a location that you can refer back to for the other technology creation tool projects throughout this unit.
The second technology tool that you will be working with is Powtoons. On your Powtoon, you will create an animated video/presentation of information that you researched about Rocks.
